Stapleford Weekend – Stands & Sponsorship Policy
1. Stalls and Trade Stands:
All individuals, businesses, and organisations wishing to host a stand or stall at the Stapleford Weekend must apply in advance and pay the relevant fee, unless otherwise agreed by the Stapleford Weekend Committee (SWC). Space allocation is at the discretion of the SWC and will be based on availability, event suitability, and balance of offerings.
2. Sponsorship Fees:
Sponsorship opportunities are available to local businesses and organisations wishing to support the event. Fees and benefits will vary based on sponsorship level and visibility offered (e.g., banners, programme mentions, presence, etc.).
3. Waived or Reduced Fees:
The SWC may, at its discretion, waive or reduce sponsorship or stand fees where a business or individual makes a significant contribution to the event - particularly where that contribution results in a direct cost saving (e.g., donating materials, equipment, or services). This will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. Community Focus:
Priority will be given to local businesses, charities, and community groups that align with the values of the Stapleford Weekend. All sponsors and stallholders must operate in a way that reflects positively on the event and the wider community.
5. Cancellations:
In the event of cancellation by a sponsor or stallholder, fees may be forfeited depending on timing and circumstances. The SWC will assess each case individually.
